Vives incorporates in its presses more efficients moulds

Vives Azulejos y Gres has incorporated in its presses, moulds designed to get a higher energy efficiency when producing the porcelain tile.

This new system achieves a higher stability of the temperature in the mould by changing from having one single point of temperature control to 16 control areas. This increases the reliability of the correct running of the system at the same time that it obtains an energy saving. The energy supply is more controlled, activating only the area where is required a correction in the temperature.

This new system has also removed the transformer, avoiding the maintenance and the associated reactive power consume. Moreover, its design provides a reduction of the intensity that runs through the electric circuit of the mould. This makes possible the use of conductors of less section, achieving then another environmental benefit, since this means a use of less meters of copper per mould.
